Jill Wagoner

I start by floating acrylic fabric paints on the surface of a tray of viscous water. Next, I pull a series of combs through the water, moving the paints into intricate, flowing patterns. Finally, I lay down a sheet of silk on the water, absorbing the floating unique design.

The process ensures that each item I craft is one of a kind, impossible to replicate through marbling.
