Greg Holzgrefe creates pattern and shadow with laser-cut, stainless-steel scraps found in a salvage yard. His work is part of personal collections in Virginia and Florida as well as corporate collections including Markel Corporation and Dominion Energy. Greg, a life-long artist, began his metal work in college in a design studio class at the Virginia Tech College of Architecture and Urban Studies. In addition to an artist, he is a licensed architect in Virginia specializing in historic and residential architecture. Greg is the youngest of nine children, a life-long resident of the city of Richmond, and enjoys exploring the world with his family.
